Online Store 2.0 theme
JSON templates with sections on every page, so you can rearrange the homepage, collection and product pages from the theme editor.
Custom Online Store 2.0 themes with sections you can edit in the theme editor, a fast cart drawer and a clean account flow — not a purchased template with your logo dropped in.
Most Shopify stores run on a paid theme that was designed for a thousand other shops. That is fine to start with. It becomes a problem when your product range, your buying journey or your brand does not fit the template, and every change turns into a fight with the theme.
We write Shopify themes in Liquid for Online Store 2.0: JSON templates, reusable sections and blocks, and settings your team can change in the theme editor without a developer. Two complete themes of ours are listed below: a streetwear storefront and a marketplace-style theme with favourites, personalisation and seller pages. Both are uploadable theme packages built as our own work, not yet on a client store.
If you want a theme built around your catalogue, we start from your products and your buyers and design the sections around them.

Shopify theme development is writing the code that controls how a Shopify store looks and behaves: its layout, product pages, cart and account pages. Themes are written in Liquid, Shopify's template language, with CSS and JavaScript for styling and interaction.
A custom theme fits your catalogue and checkout journey, carries only the code you need and is easier to keep fast. A paid theme is cheaper at the start, but you pay for it later in workarounds and apps that patch what the template cannot do.
It is Shopify's current theme architecture. Every page uses JSON templates made of sections, so a store owner can add, remove and reorder content blocks in the theme editor without touching code.
Yes. We have built two complete Online Store 2.0 themes, a streetwear storefront and a marketplace-style theme, and both install with Shopify CLI. They are our own builds, not yet running on a client store, and we say so rather than imply otherwise.
It depends on how far from a standard store layout you need to go. Customising an existing theme is a small project, while a fully custom theme with special product features is larger. We quote against a written feature list after a discovery call, so you know the price before work starts.
Yes. We can configure the store, import your catalogue and set up payments and shipping alongside the theme, so you launch with a working store and not only a design.
